About the Event
Chefs for Equality was created in 2012 by David Hagedorn along with the Human Rights Campaign to raise funds and awareness about the fight for marriage equality in Maryland. The event was designed by Christopher Vazquez and Rick Davis of Amaryllis Floral + Event Design. Sounds by DJ Shea Van Horn.
Maryland Governor and equality supporter Martin O'Malley was a featured guest at the event. Fashion icon and television personality Tim Gunn served as emcee.
